  Absolute nightmare! We hired a coast house and paid a good amount (over $1000) only to have our $500 bond held back when when they claimed that we has stolen a quilt! This was such a ridiclous accusation especially since we were instructed to bring all our own linen which we did, the house linen was old and worn, and we even mopped the floors and left the house spotless for them!

  When viewing a property for lease I was asked by Nicole how many people would be residing at the property and when I replied only two myself and my daughter the other staff member from this agency named Whittney said in a very matter of fact tone oh so are you working at the moment! I was shocked as this clearly indicated to me that she was stereotyping me as a single parent who possibly couldn't afford the rent! Why would I waste my time or theirs if I couldn't afford it! As it so happens I do work and I work 7 days a week for myself and do the job of two parents! When I raised the matter they quickly carried out my reference checks but lied about the process and timing to cover their backs to then tell me that my references were excellent and that my rent is paid on time all the time but the owner is going to wait for more applicants to come forward! Simply because I am a single mum I was outed by this agency after making a complaint directly to them and I will be taking the matter further.

  It took me over 3 weeks of exhausting calls with the agent to try and explain how ridiculous they were being and the agent hung up on me. It was only after I threatened to take the matter to the ACCC that they dropped the issue. Save yourself the headache...
